When Can You Ski and Snowboard in Andorra?
The Andorra ski season runs from the first Friday in December to Easter Sunday – every single year. That’s over four solid months of snow-drenched fun, high in the Pyrenees.
Whether you're carving up early-season corduroy or chasing spring sunshine on the pistes, Andorra delivers.
❄️ Season Breakdown:
➡️ Early Season (December – mid-December)
Keen to beat the crowds? Resorts typically open the first Friday in December. Snow cannons help pad out the base until the skies take over – ideal for pre-Christmas powder chasers.
➡️ Peak Season (mid-December – February)
This is the main event. Christmas, New Year, half term – the snow's deep, the après is buzzing, and every lift is humming. Andorra’s high-altitude slopes (up to 2,600m) mean great snow conditions across both Grandvalira and Pal, Arinsal.
➡️ Late Season (March – early April)
Spring skiing is a vibe. Think longer days, quieter slopes, and bluebird skies. Thanks to the elevation (most resorts start around 1,800m), Andorra stays snowy into April – right through to Easter Sunday.
