The ski resort of El Tarter is linked to the Grandvalira ski area and stands at 1710m, with the majority of runs higher up at levels of 2100m in Riba Escorxada and up to 2500m in some areas like Tosa dels Espiolets.
El Tarter ski area is one of the more dynamic sectors and was designed with the most extreme winter sports in mind. Here you’ll find the Snowpark El Tarter, which has the longest line of modules in the Pyrenees, and one of the longest in Europe.
The Àliga slope has hosted the Alpine Skiing World Cup in 2016 & 2019.
